Iniesta: 'Earning 300 million dollars is not as good as keeping Neymar'

Barca captain is worried about the risk of the team losing Neymar to PSG on a contract buyout.

Neymar currently has a buyout clause of $257 million. According to Marca, PSG are ready to pay and the Brazilian striker has agreed to join the Parc des Princes.

"I don't think getting 200 million or 300 million is more beneficial than keeping Neymar. He is one of the best players in the world and I always want players like that to play for Barca. We all want Neymar to stay," Iniesta replied when asked aboutBrazilian teammate could leave.

Signs of Neymar's transfer are becoming more and more obvious when Neymar recently had a brawl at Barca's training ground. In a controversial situation that took place on the morning of July 28, the star wearing the number 11 shirt suddenly got angry after a collision with new player Nelson Semedo. When the tension escalated, other players had to rush in to stop it.

Iniesta confirmed: "It's true that there was a collision on the field, but that was just part of the training session. People are more concerned because Neymar is being talked about all over the world."

Neymar's teammate Luis Suarez shares Iniesta's views on the attack. The Uruguayan striker added: "Neymar will have his own explanation. As teammates, we will support any decision (to leave or stay) he makes."
