Inter and AC Milan: What remains after the dream?
Serie A will likely be Juventus's game again, but the two Milanese teams still have a lot to look forward to after the historic transfer this summer.
Last season, thanks to Gonzalo Higuain's 36 goals, Napoli became a worthy rival to Juventus for the scudetto. Therefore, when Juventus bought Higuain, they considered it as ending the last hope of the runner-up team before the new season. Not only that, with 99 million dollars invested in this deal, "The Old Lady" also wanted to show their financial potential, the huge gap between them and the rest of Italy. Pushing all competition in the domestic league into meaninglessness, "Serie A before the new season" is therefore the story of expatriates, such as AC Milan and Inter Milan.

This exile is literal, because in a desperate situation, unable to move towards the future, and the glorious past has become a heavy pressure to succeed, the two Milanese football teams had to sell themselves to foreign owners. The owner of Inter is Indonesian, the owner of Milan is Chinese. The Milanese people are exiled in both goals and reputation, when the two beloved football teams only aspire to a place in the Champions League, even though they belong to the most powerful and most titled trio in the country shaped like a boot.
At Euro 2016, Inter's tifosi were proud of one name: Ivan Perisic. With two goals and one assist, including the decisive goal against Spain. Possessing a fast, technical style of play, and lightning-fast wing-climbing, he became the most impressive player in the group stage. Besides Perisic, in the Croatian squad, Marcelo Brozovic is also an Inter player. The impression that Perisic created in the summer of France made people question Inter Milan. Why can't such precious gems do something special in the blue-black shirt? Don't forget, they are not alone, because Inter also owns Kondogbia, Jovetic and Mauro Icardi, all of whom are great players. They also have a world-class goalkeeper: Samir Handanovic. And from this summer, Inter also has a very good player from Italy at Euro 2016 last summer - Antonio Candreva.
Despite the difficulties, Erick Thohir has not been bad at shopping for Inter. Looking at the depth of Inter's squad, the tifosi have found that the story of "Silvio Berlusconi delaying the sale because he is trying to find a good person to transfer AC Milan, aiming to avoid Moratti's mistake" is completely nonsense. They have forgotten that Inter is not Thohir's first sports club, before that, he owned an NBA basketball team, an American football team. Deeper down, Thohir comes from the island nation of Indonesia - where there is the largest number of tifosi in the world. This businessman has tried to make Inter more than just a businessman, because deep down he still has sympathy for this team. The fastidiousness of the tifosi, the nationalism of the Italian people seem to have made him viewed in a distorted way.
The tifosi have been sighing for Inter Milan for the past three or four years, without looking at the present, that with the names mentioned above, this team has no right to fail. Roberto Mancini's departure is not regrettable, but should be as soon as possible. Two terms with Inter only showed that the romantic number 10's soft personality during his playing days prevented him from inspiring the Nerazzurri stars to fight.

When coach Frank de Boer came to Inter. All Frank de Boer needed was to exploit, because this team was already a gold mine. But whether Frank de Boer is that type of coach or not, time will tell.
Half a month ago, AC Milan was taken over by the Chinese with a promise to inject at least $400 million over three years into the team. With only 10 days left until the end of the summer transfer window, there will probably not be many changes to the Milan squad, as the Chinese investment group is busy taking over the upper echelons and changing leadership. Milan will not be able to enter the transfer market until at least January 2017 or next summer, and only then will their ambitions be demonstrated.
Milan's lack of intention to buy is an opportunity for young players. Over the generations, AC Milan's foundation still lies in their youth training. That is where the team's leaps and bounds are created, where the glorious tradition of the team is told to each other. Mattia De Sciglio's impressive form in the summer of Euro 2016, Gianluigi Donnarumma's remarkable growth over the past year are great suggestions for the path Milan needs to take.

Milan has a new owner and a new coach, but when they can't spend money on transfers, they need an icon to rally their forces like Paolo Maldini. |
But to do this, AC Milan needs a "trump card". He - the greatest son in the history of a great club - is Paolo Maldini. The new Chinese owners have offered to invite this outstanding former defender back, as a manager, but Maldini has not yet accepted. Will AC Milan in the 2016-2017 season be different from previous seasons, perhaps it lies in inviting that legendary man home.
Milan after the dream, turned out to depend on only two people.
