New generation iPhone will have wireless charging

Three new Apple smartphones launching this year may support wireless charging in addition to positive design changes.

The three iPhone models expected to be released this year by Apple are the iPhone 8, iPhone 7s and 7s Plus. While the iPhone 8 is expected to feature a metal frame and two glass sides to be able to use the wireless charging feature, the two iPhone 7s and 7s Plus models must also change the design from the iPhone 7 to be equipped with this feature. Ming Chi Kuo, an analyst from KGI Securities who has made accurate predictions about Apple products, said that because of the integration of wireless charging, Apple had to redesign the 3D Touch sensor. Wireless charging will make the device hotter, so Apple needs to add insulation layers inside the phone to protect the 3D Touch sensor layer. Analysts also said that the metal casing on the iPhone 8 and iPhone 7s will not dissipate heat as effectively as the aluminum casing, and the temperature inside the device will increase faster even if users do not pay attention to this.

Ming Chi Kuo also said that the price of the new 3D Touch module will increase by about 30 to 50% compared to before, due to changes to accommodate new features and users will have to pay for this increase.

A recent report also said that the iPhone 8 will be the first iPhone model to be sold with a starting price of over $ 1,000 due to many changes in design. The iPhone 7s and 7s Plus will be cheaper, equivalent to the two models 7 and 7 Plus currently sold on the market.
