Iran warns US, Israel not to cross 'red lines' in Gulf
Iran yesterday (December 28) warned Israel and the US military not to cross the "red line" in the Gulf region.
The warning comes amid reports that US and Israeli submarines are being deployed to the area.
Speaking at an online press conference, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh stressed that Iran will take self-defense actions against the "risky" actions of the US military and its ally Israel in the final phase of President Trump's term. He reaffirmed the importance of the Persian Gulf to Iran's national and security policies, and warned of the risks if other parties deliberately cross the "red line".
