Iran calls US embassy move to Jerusalem “dangerous move”
(Baonghean.vn) - Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif used the phrase "extremely dangerous" to describe the US move regarding Jerusalem, where the US Embassy is scheduled to open on May 14 after moving from Tel Aviv.

“We consider this an extremely dangerous act by the US administration towards Jerusalem,” Zarif said at a meeting with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov.
“Sadly, it has become a habit of the US government to oppose international rules and regulations,” he said.
The inauguration ceremony of the US Embassy in Israel will be held in Jerusalem today (May 14). US President Donald Trump announced the decision to move the diplomatic mission from Tel Aviv to here on December 6, 2017.
The status of Jerusalem is one of the key issues involved in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
Israel, which captured the eastern part of the city in the 1967 war, claims Jerusalem as its sole and undivided capital. Palestinians, meanwhile, want the eastern part of the city as their capital.
