Iran-Israel attack each other, Tehran is ready for long-term conflict
Iran and Israel continued to fire at each other's territory early this morning (June 15). The Tehran government affirmed that it was ready for a prolonged conflict.
Al Arabiya quoted a statement from the Israeli military saying that in the early morning of June 15, Iran continued to launch many missiles into the country's territory, forcing air defense units to respond. "We also carried out raids on many military targets in Iranian territory," the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) informed.
Witnesses said several rockets flew over the Israeli city of Jerusalem at dawn. However, IDF units did not activate air raid warning sirens there.

According to the latest update from Israeli health services, a missile attack carried out by Iran in the early morning of June 15 killed at least one woman and injured 13 people, when weapons from Tehran forces fell on a house in northern Israel.
Iranian media also confirmed that Israel carried out an airstrike on the Shahran oil depot near the capital Tehran. “The situation is under control, as the fire has been extinguished. The Israeli strikes also targeted military facilities in the capital Tehran, causing some minor damage,” Tasnim news agency reported.
In a statement released later, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said its missiles and drones had attacked several Israeli energy facilities and facilities that produce fuel for warplanes. “Tehran’s attacks will increase in frequency and intensity if Israel continues its hostile activities,” the IRGC said in a statement.
An unnamed senior Iranian official asserted that Tehran is ready for a protracted conflict with Israel.
“We did not start the conflict, but we will decide how it ends. This is Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s war and the result will be destruction for the Tel Aviv regime… Iran is defending its people and US President Donald Trump needs to decide whether to spend US taxpayers’ money on Netanyahu’s ambitions,” the unnamed Iranian official told Al Jazeera.
