Iran determined not to dialogue with the US
(Baonghean.vn) - Tasnim news agency quoted a Deputy Commander of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as affirming that Tehran will not dialogue with the US; at the same time, affirming that Washington will "not dare" to launch military action against this Islamic country.

Tasnim quoted Brigadier General Yadollah Javani - Deputy Political Commander of IRGC as saying that there will be no dialogue between Iran and the US. Iran considers the US an untrustworthy country.
The statement came after US President Donald Trump on May 9 called on Iran's leaders to negotiate with Tehran on abandoning its nuclear ambitions, but at the same time warned that Washington did not rule out a military solution.
In a related development, on the same day, the US Air Force posted images showing B-52 bombers ordered by the White House to be deployed to the Persian Gulf to deal with "unspecified threats from Iran".
Images from the US Air Force Central Command show B-52H Stratofortress aircraft arriving at Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar on the night of May 9. The US Air Force also said other aircraft landed at an undisclosed location on May 8.
The above moves took place in the context of the US tightening sanctions on Iran with measures such as sanction exemptions for some countries that are major oil importers of Iran.
In response, Iran has also adjusted some measures to limit its nuclear program, while still maintaining compliance with the 2015 nuclear agreement signed with the P5+1 group (UK, France, US, Russia, China and Germany).
On May 7, the US announced the dispatch of B-52 bombers to the Middle East to deal with what the Washington administration called "clear signs" of threats from Iran to US forces in the region.
