At the exhibition, called “Hunting Vultures,” Tehran also displayed the remains of a US military drone that was shot down by its air defense system in June in waters south of Iran.
On June 21, Tehran announced that it had shot down a US RQ-4 Global Hawk “spy drone” when it violated Iranian airspace near the Strait of Hormuz.
Speaking at the exhibition, Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Hossein Salami affirmed that Iran will never allow a war to happen on its territory.
"We will attack anyone who violates our borders," Salami said. According to the IRGC commander, Iran has so far only demonstrated a part of its military capabilities.
