Iraq ranked the kindest country in the world
It is indeed surprising that Iraq - a country engulfed in the flames of war and terrorism - is considered the kindest in the world.
If asked which country is the kindest in the world, many people will immediately think of peaceful countries with economic potential. However, the answer from researchers will surprise us. That is Iraq - a country whose territory is groaning under the rule of the brutal terrorist group IS.

In collaboration with Gallup, the UK's Charity Aid Foundation (CAF) conducted a survey on the World Charity Index in 140 countries. The results showed that Iraq is the most generous country in the world, with 81% of people asked saying they had helped a stranger in the past month. Despite experiencing violence and instability, Iraq has twice topped this criterion. Meanwhile, Libya, a country experiencing internal conflict, ranked second on the list this year.
It may be that the circumstances of the disaster have made people in these countries more resilient and brave, evoking a collective humanitarian response, said Adam Pickering, head of international policy at the Charity Aid Foundation.
