CNN reported images ofMark Zuckerberg and Jack Dorsey appear multiple times in the group's 25-minute video, sometimes engulfed in flames or riddled with bullet holes.

The video was in retaliation for Facebook and Twitter's efforts to curb terrorist activity on their social networks.

A line that appears at the end of the video reads: "You guys claim to have suspended many of our accounts every day, so I ask you: is that all you can do? If you close one account, we will open 10 in response and your names will be erased soon after we delete these pages."

In another post, the attackers claimed to have hacked more than 10,000 Facebook accounts, 150 Facebook groups, and more than 5,000 Twitter accounts.

“Many of those accounts are given to supporters and if Allah allows, the rest will also be distributed,” they said.

Two scholars who track IS's online activity confirmed that the video was posted on several of the group's forums.

ISIS and related terrorist groups have threatened Dorsey at least twice. A few weeks ago, Twitter announced that it had suspended more than 125,000 accounts that had threatened or supported terrorism in recent months. Twitter also said it had developed a team to monitor terrorist activity on its network.

In an event this week,Zuckerberg also reaffirmed Facebook's stance and policies in supporting online counterterrorism.
