Israel shoots down plane flying from Syria
Israeli soldiers fired two anti-aircraft missiles at a Sukhoi aircraft flying from Syria into the country's airspace.

"The plane flew 2 kilometers into Israeli airspace and was intercepted," the press release said. "It was a Syrian Air Force plane."
Israel said the plane had been involved in combat operations against opposition forces in recent weeks in the southwestern Syrian border area.
"Since early morning, there has been an increase in the intensity of hostilities in the internal conflict in Syria, including intensive activity by the Syrian Air Force," - the press release noted.
