Israel prepares for scenarios in areas other than Gaza
(Baonghean.vn) - Israel is continuing the war in Gaza but is also preparing for scenarios in other areas, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on April 11, amid concerns that Iran is preparing to attack Israel in response to the killing of senior Iranian commanders.

“Whoever harms us, we will harm them,” Prime Minister Netanyahu said after a visit to Tel Nof air base in southern Israel. “We are ready to meet all the security needs of the State of Israel, both defensive and offensive.”
Israeli military spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said civilians had not been asked to make any special preparations but insisted Israel was “thoroughly prepared for a range of scenarios”. Mr Netanyahu made his comments as Israeli troops and warplanes began an operation in central Gaza overnight that the military said was aimed at destroying the infrastructure of Palestinian militant groups.
Most Israeli troops have been withdrawn from Gaza in preparation for an assault on the southern city of Rafah, where more than 1 million Palestinians are sheltering, but fighting continues in various areas of the enclave.
