Israel launches attack on Gaza Strip
The Israeli Air Force has struck the Gaza Strip, where the Hamas movement is based, in response to an attempt by the militant group to violate the border, - according to the Israeli military press service.
The soldiers did not say what the results of the attack were and the nature of the targets, which they said were located on the militants' military base.
"Early this morning, April 9, 2018, Israeli Air Force aircraft attacked a military base of the Hamas terrorist organization in the Gaza Strip," — the press release said.
"The Israel Defense Forces always take seriously the attempts of the Hamas terrorist organization to turn the border area into a war zone," the Israeli military press service said.
