Israel and Hamas sign first phase of conflict resolution plan
Mediators are pleased to announce that Israel and Hamas have signed the first phase of a plan to resolve the conflict in Gaza.

According to RIA Novosti on October 9, US President Donald Trump and the Qatari Foreign Ministry - the mediator of the negotiations, issued a statement that Israel and the Hamas movement have agreed on the first phase of a plan to resolve the conflict.
"I am very proud to announce that Israel and Hamas have signed Phase One of our peace plan," President Donald Trump wrote on his Truth Social social media account.
President Trump added that Hamas had agreed to release all hostages under the deal, while Israel agreed to withdraw its troops toward the agreed-upon line.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed hope that all Israeli hostages would return home. According to the Times of Israel, the hostages are expected to be released on Saturday (October 11).
The Israeli leader called the deal a “diplomatic success” and a “national and humanitarian victory for Israel.” Netanyahu thanked President Trump for his “leadership, partnership and steadfast commitment to Israel’s security” and the freedom of the Israeli hostages.
Hamas has confirmed deals to end the war in the Gaza Strip and ensure the withdrawal of Israeli troops from the Palestinian territory. The remaining Israeli hostages will be exchanged for nearly 2,000 Palestinian prisoners, the statement said.
The group also called on President Trump and the guarantor countries of the deal to force Israel to implement it. Hamas also pledged not to give up the fight for Palestinian rights, including freedom, independence and self-determination.
