Vardy received 36% of the votes from 290 participating journalists, surpassing his two teammates who were right behind him.Riyad Mahrez and N'Golo Kante.

The 29-year-old striker is having the best season of his career, with 24 goals for both his club and the England team. His important contribution helps Leicester stand before a historic opportunity: winning the Premier League.
