Jetstar is about to launch a Vinh – Nha Trang route.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of November 18th, under the chairmanship of Mr. Huynh Thanh Dien – Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial People's Committee held a working session with Jetstar Pacific Airlines Joint Stock Company, Northern Branch, regarding the coordination of opening the Vinh – Nha Trang flight route.

Overview of the working session

At the meeting, Mr. Ta Huu Thanh – Director of the Northern branch – gave a presentation on the airline's operations. Currently, Jetstar has 11 aircraft, and will receive 4 more in early January 2016 to strengthen operations during the Lunar New Year holiday. In the first 10 months of the year, Jetstar achieved an occupancy rate of nearly 90%. To date, it operates 26 domestic routes, including 15 domestic routes opened in 2015. With the motto "Everyday low prices, passenger satisfaction," Jetstar is committed to serving the travel needs of its passengers.

The head of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism stated that Jetstar needs to coordinate with the local authorities to effectively utilize the flight route.

The Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper stated that Nghe An Newspaper has experience in promoting the development of air routes and will soon be involved in promoting and supporting the Vinh - Nha Trang air route.

According to the plan, domestic flights between Vinh and Nha Trang will be operated 4-5 times a week, starting in December 2015, with the aim of meeting the travel, visiting relatives, and tourism needs not only of people in Nghe An but also of the entire North Central region.

The new route is scheduled to launch on December 15th, and on the same day, additional routes will open: Saigon – Da Lat and Hanoi – Tuy Hoa. Therefore, the airline, along with media outlets at both the departure and destination points, will intensify promotional efforts and offer attractive deals starting now.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Huynh Thanh Dien requested that Jetstar Pacific Airlines' Northern branch study and arrange suitable flight schedules and improve the quality of flight services.

After hearing the opinions of the departments and concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Huynh Thanh Dien highly appreciated the efforts of Jetstar Pacific Airlines in promoting the opening of new routes to meet the increasing travel needs of people in the province. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee pledged that the Provincial People's Committee and media agencies would provide the best possible support in the publicity efforts. Jetstar Pacific Airlines' Northern branch needs to study and arrange suitable flight schedules, improve flight service quality, and provide the best possible service to passengers.
