Jetstar is about to open Vinh - Nha Trang route

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of November 18, under the chairmanship of Mr. Huynh Thanh Dien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial People's Committee had a meeting with Jetstar Pacific Airlines Corporation, Northern branch, on the coordination to open the Vinh - Nha Trang flight route.

Overview of the working session

At the meeting, Mr. Ta Huu Thanh - Director of the Northern branch gave a speech introducing the airline's operations. Jetstar currently has 11 aircraft, and in early January 2016 will receive 4 more aircraft to increase operations during the Lunar New Year. In the first 10 months of the year, Jetstar operated at a seat utilization rate of nearly 90%. Up to now, Jetstar has operated 26 domestic routes, of which 15 domestic routes were opened in 2015. With the criteria of "cheap prices every day, satisfaction when flying", Jetstar is committed to serving the travel needs of passengers well.

The leader of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said that Jetstar needs to coordinate with localities to exploit the efficiency of flight routes.

Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper said that Nghe An Newspaper has experience in promoting the development of flight routes and will soon participate in promoting support for the Vinh - Nha Trang flight route.

According to the plan, domestic flights from Vinh to Nha Trang will be operated 4-5 times per week, starting from December 2015 with the hope of meeting the travel, visiting relatives and tourism needs of not only Nghe An people but also the entire North Central region.

The route is expected to open on December 15th and on the same day, the Saigon - Da Lat and Hanoi - Tuy Hoa routes will be opened. Therefore, from now on, the airline and the media agencies of the destinations will increase propaganda activities; at the same time, there will be attractive promotional programs.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Huynh Thanh Dien requested Jetstar Pacific Airlines Corporation, Northern branch, to study and arrange suitable flight schedules and improve the quality of flight services.

After listening to the opinions of the departments and branches, concluding the working session, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Huynh Thanh Dien highly appreciated the efforts of Jetstar Airlines Joint Stock Company in promoting the opening of flight routes to meet the increasing travel needs of local people. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee committed that the Provincial People's Committee and media agencies will have the best support solutions in propaganda work. On the side of Jetstar Pacific Airlines Joint Stock Company, the Northern branch, it is necessary to study and arrange suitable flight schedules, improve the quality of flight services, and serve passengers best.
