Through the survey, Mr. Kobayashi Ryutaro - Deputy Chief Representative of JICA Vietnam commented: "Nghe An has many historical - cultural relics, famous and potential scenic spots, it is necessary to focus on promoting and making tourism a spearhead in the local economic structure. JICA has signed a memorandum of understanding on tourism development cooperation and selected Con Cuong and Nam Dan districts to support the development of agricultural tourism associated with heritage.
At the same time, JICA sent tourism development experts to survey and support, and up to now, tourism in Con Cuong district has improved a lot and has "renewed" Nghe An community tourism on the tourism map of Vietnam.
Through the coordination with the Management Board of the Project on Diversifying Livelihoods Based on Heritage Tourism in Agricultural and Fishery Villages (PMU), the Institute for Rural and Agricultural Industries Development (VIRI) has combined research and use of local products from oranges, tapioca starch, vermicelli, peanuts... to produce and make unique gifts for tourists; organize attractive adventure tours to Con Cuong, design a Con Cuong tourist map in bilingual Vietnamese - Japanese, English - Japanese..."

The Deputy Chief Representative of JICA in Vietnam suggested building a 2-day tour schedule in Nghe An, including both sightseeing in the mountainous district of Nghe An and sightseeing and beach tourism.
JICA hopes that in the coming time, provincial leaders will continue to pay attention to the tourism development project in Nam Dan district, as well as replicate this community tourism model to other localities in the province.
In the coming time, JICA Office will send volunteers to Nghe An to coordinate and support local people and authorities to promote connections and continue to develop tourism products in Nghe An.
The news agencies believe that Nghe An has a lot of tourism potential, many places attract a large number of tourists to the locality. However, it must be frankly admitted that although the potential is "abundant", exploitation is still very limited. Nghe An's tourism development has not been commensurate with its inherent strengths. In this promotional survey, the news agencies will try their best to promote Nghe An tourism destinations.
