JICA's volunteer dispatch program officially started in Vietnam in 1995, within the framework of JICA's technical cooperation. For more than 20 years, volunteers from Japan have made continuous contributions to the development of tourism in our country. JICA volunteers are carefully selected, all of whom have specialized knowledge and experience in the required field.
Up to now, JICA has sent over 500 volunteers to work in Vietnam in many fields such as: education, health, environment, community development, sports economy, tourism... in all provinces and cities in Vietnam.
Nghe An always identifies the Japanese tourist market as one of the potential markets and needs to be promoted and expanded. In the coming time, Nghe An hopes that the JICA Office will continue to support volunteers to work in Nghe An in general and in the tourism industry in particular to create a bridge, introduce and promote tourism of President Ho Chi Minh's hometown to Japan.
