"Neither Iran nor other hostile actors should mistake America's caution and thoughtfulness for weakness. Our military is being rebuilt and ready for combat," Mr. Bolton stressed.
Mr. Bolton, who is in Israel for a trilateral meeting with his Israeli and Russian counterparts, Meir Ben-Shabbat and Nikolai Patrushev, noted that “the current situation in the region makes our dialogue extremely timely.”
On the same day, United Arab Emirates (UAE) Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Anwar Gargash stressed that tensions in the Gulf region can only be resolved politically, and the top priority is to de-escalate and conduct dialogue.
