Juventus appoints coach Sarri
The 60-year-old coach left Chelsea and signed a three-year contract with the Turin club on June 16.
"Chelsea and Juventus have reached an agreement to terminate the contract of coach Maurizio Sarri two years early," the announcement on Chelsea's homepage said. Although he only led Chelsea for one season, Sarri brought many remarkable achievements.

"After winning the Europa League, Sarri could not hide his desire to return to Italy. For him, working in his homeland has a special meaning. He wants to live close to his family and take care of his elderly parents. We would like to thank Sarri and his colleagues for the Europa League title, the League Cup runner-up and the third place in the Premier League," said Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia.
At the same time Chelsea announced, Juventus also posted a message welcoming the Tuscan coach. Nearly a month after parting ways with coach Max Allegri, Juventus has a new coach. "From today, Sarri begins leading Juventus until June 30, 2022. Welcome Sarri to his new journey," the announcement said.
Sarri was born in Naples, but grew up in Tuscany. Since becoming a coach in 2001, it has been 13 years since he has managed a Serie A club. In Serie B in 2013-14, he guided Empoli to second place and promoted the Tuscan club. Sarri rose to fame when he took charge of Napoli in the summer of 2015, helping them finish in the top three three times. But his first major trophy was the 2019 Europa League with Chelsea.
