The former AC Milan and Brazil midfielder has retired from football at the age of 35, after his contract with MLS side Orlando City expired.

In October, Kaka played his final game of the season for Orlando City. In November, Italian media reported that he had been offered a position on the board of AC Milan.
Kaka started his career at Sao Paulo before moving to AC Milan and spending the peak of his career there. He played 193 times for the San Siro team, scoring 70 goals and in 2010 was honored in the club's Hall of Fame.
In 2009, Real signed Kaka for $78.7 million - the second highest fee in world football history at that time, after Zinedine Zidane's transfer. But he was unsuccessful at the Bernabeu. In 2013, Kaka returned to Milan. He moved to MLS to play for Orlando City in 2014.
At the international level, he won the 2002 World Cup and participated in the 2006 and 2010 World Cups with Brazil. Kaka is one of four players, along with Ronaldinho, Rivaldo and Zidane, to have won the World Cup, the Champions League and the Ballon d'Or. Including the European Cup, the predecessor to the Champions League, only Bobby Charlton, Gerd Muller, Franz Beckenbauer and Paolo Rossi are on this list.
The former AC Milan midfielder is renowned for his ability to dribble, shoot and create chances for his teammates. He has 92 caps for Brazil, scoring 29 goals.
