In India, as well as Indonesia, Bajaj positions the Pulsar 200NS in the same segment as rivals like the Yamaha FZ series, Honda CB150R, Suzuki Gixxer 150.

With a typical nakedbike design, the Kawasaki Bajaj Pulsar 200NS is impressive with a high, angular 12-liter fuel tank, seamlessly integrated with the wind-gathering wings down to the tight radiator grille. The front of the vehicle has the shape of a robot warrior's face, a single V-shaped headlight, and an aerodynamic front windshield.

The wide and high handlebars help control flexibly in crowded streets or rough terrain. The electronic dashboard combines a traditional tachometer with vehicle parameter indicator lights. The tachometer threshold light helps the driver easily control the gear shifting process when accelerating. Unlike other models, the Kawasaki Bajaj Pulsar 200NS is equipped with indicator lights for the buttons on the handlebars.

Pulsar 200NS offers a comfortable sitting position, almost hugging the fuel tank. The saddle is split and swept back. The taillight uses LED lights, while the rear turn signal cluster uses incandescent bulbs. The license plate bracket is inspired by large displacement motorcycles. The vehicle is 2,017 mm long, 1,195 mm high and 804 mm wide. Wheelbase 1,363 mm. Ground clearance 169 mm.

Pulsar 200NS has a seat height of 805 mm, slightly higher than competitors such as Yamaha FZ-series at 790 mm, Honda CB150R at 797 mm, Suzuki Gixxer 150 at only 780 mm.

The Indian automaker equips the Pulsar 200NS with a telescopic front suspension system (hydraulic shock absorber) and a rear monoshock with nitrox. The pair of 17-inch multi-spoke cast rims are combined with 100/80 front tubeless tires and 130/70 rear tires.

Safety equipment with single disc brake system on both wheels, 280 mm front disc with 2 piston calipers and 230 mm rear disc with one piston. The exhaust system borrows the design of KTM Duke 200 placed under the chassis, making the overall vehicle more compact.

Kawasaki Bajaj Pulsar 200NS is also the only model in the segment equipped with an ignition system with 3 spark plugs to optimize combustion efficiency, increase power and reduce fuel consumption. According to the manufacturer's announcement, Pulsar 200NS accelerates from 0 to 96 km/h in just 3.1 seconds and has a maximum speed of 135 km/h.

The vehicle is equipped with a single-cylinder engine with a real capacity of 199.5 cc, liquid-cooled, electronic fuel injection, capacity of 22.8 horsepower at 9,500 rpm, maximum torque of 18.3 Nm at 8,000 rpm. 6-speed gearbox.

Turn on the key, wait for the engine check light to turn off, press the start button, Pulsar 200NS gently shakes and starts the engine. The engine sounds smooth when operating in idle mode with one spark plug, the tachometer needle only reads 1,500 rpm. Squeeze the clutch into first gear, release the clutch and enter the gas, the car seems to want to jump up like a horse being urged to accelerate. At this time, the controller activates the 3 spark plugs to operate.

The rev limit indicator light flashes as if to urge you to change gears, cut the clutch, kick in 2nd gear, and the speedometer jumps gears continuously. Just like that, each time the rev limit indicator light flashes, you change gears. When stable at 6th gear, the Pulsar 200NS feels solid when driving at high speeds.

At the intersection, shift to N, at this time the engine is operating at high intensity with 3 spark plugs. When the car stops completely for 3 to 5 seconds, the engine speed is at about 2,500 rpm, the control unit temporarily turns off 2 spark plugs, at that time the engine speed is reduced to about 1,500 rpm. This feature helps the car save fuel.
