Kawasaki to stop production of classic Estrella 250 motorcycle

The Kawasaki Estrella 250 "final edition" has been launched in Japan after a quarter century of its introduction.

Kawasaki is planning to introduce a 150cc segment motorcycle, IwanBanaran reports. The new motorcycle could be designed like the Kawasaki Estrella 250, offering a new level of versatility for retro-styled motorcycles.

The Kawasaki Estrella 250 was first introduced in 1992, and the final versions of the retro-styled electric bike were introduced starting June 1. The company will also stop production of the Estrella 250 after a quarter century of sales. The bike is painted Candy Arabia and comes with a special logo on the fuel tank.

Kawasaki Estrella 250 is equipped with a 249 cc, air-cooled engine, capable of producing a maximum capacity of about 17 horsepower and a maximum torque of 20 Nm.

The car has an old-style round front headlight cluster, two separate turn signals and a pair of classic mirrors that are unmistakable to this car line after decades of presence.

The classic look of the Kawasaki Estrella 250 motorcycle is not only expressed in its design but also in the simple round speedometer cluster. The left control cluster with horn, headlights, turn signals and priority lights. The left control cluster with the starter system and starter switch.

The final version Estrella 250 is sold for 576,640 Yen (118 million VND) in Japan.
