Kazakhstan: Plane crashes, at least 20 killed.
That includes all the passengers and crew on the plane.
At least 20 people were killed after a plane crashed in Kazakhstan this afternoon, January 29.
The Interfax news agency, citing local emergency services personnel, reported that the crashed aircraft was a Challenger-200, which fell near Alma-Aty, the country's largest city.

The plane was reported to have disappeared from radar screens at 1:15 p.m. local time (2:15 p.m. Vietnam time). Local sources told Interfax that 15 passengers and 5 crew members were killed, while Reuters, citing a report from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, said 22 people died, not 20.
Local authorities said most of the passengers were businesspeople, in addition to one child. They also said the plane broke into many pieces after crashing.
According to local media, dense fog may have been the cause of the accident. SCAT Airlines said the plane was attempting to land in bad weather conditions, and crashed on its second landing attempt.
The Challenger-200 is a small aircraft capable of carrying approximately 50 passengers.
This is the latest accident in Kazakhstan, following the previous one.A plane crashed on December 25, 2012.This resulted in the deaths of all 20 military officers and 7 members of the flight crew.
