Hoang Mai District Police (Hanoi City) has just dismantled a gambling ring in the form offootball bettingand Number Game over the Internet.
So far, the police have identified 8 subjects with a total transaction amount of more than 3.6 billion VND.

According to investigation documents, at around 8:00 p.m. on February 10, at Lane 126 Vinh Hung, Vinh Hung Ward, Hoang Mai District, the working group of Hoang Mai District Police discovered a suspicious person and conducted an administrative check on Ho Sy Nghia (born in 1968; residing at 3C Lane 126, Vinh Hung Ward).
Through investigation, Nghia confessed that he was managing a football betting account.
At around 9:00 p.m. the same day, Truong Quang Chinh (born in 1971; residing in Mai Dong ward, Hoang Mai district) surrendered to the district police and confessed to being the organizer of the above football betting ring.
The case is currently being handled by the Investigation Police Department of Hoang Mai District Police.
