The killer of the girl with the rose tattoo received a life sentence.

After having sex, Huynh Ngoc Phuong murdered Ms. Hoang and then put her body in a sack and transported it from Ba Ria - Vung Tau to Dong Nai to dispose of it.

Today (September 29), the People's Court of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province opened the first instance trial of defendant Huynh Ngoc Phuong (32 years old, residing in My Xuan commune, Tan Thanh district, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province) on two charges of murder and robbery.

The victim was Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Hoang (commonly known as Hong, 34 years old, residing in Pham Van Coi commune, Cu Chi district, Ho Chi Minh City).

According to the indictment, at 6:30 p.m. on February 1, Huynh Ngoc Phuong called Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Hoang to come to her rented room in My Tan hamlet, My Xuan commune, Tan Thanh district, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province to buy and sell sex.

After having sex, Phuong took a 60cm long iron pipe from the kitchen, went behind Ms. Hoang and hit her in the neck, causing the victim to lose consciousness and lie face down on the floor.

Phuong searched for 120,000 VND, a cell phone and an Atila motorbike with license plate 72K1 - 220.52 belonging to Ms. Hoang.

Phuong left the victim in the room, locked the door and took the motorbike to go get coffee.

Early the next morning, Phuong returned to her rented room. When she saw that Ms. Hoang was still breathing, Phuong took an iron pipe and hit her repeatedly and tied her up with rope and tape.

Huynh Ngoc Phuong then put the victim's body in a sack and used a motorbike to transport it to a plot of land in Hamlet 1, Phuoc Binh Commune, Long Thanh District, Dong Nai Province.

According to the autopsy results, Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Hoang died of traumatic brain injury, skull fracture, and mechanical asphyxiation.
