Law enforcement found dozens of IS-related videos and images on the attacker's phone, including executions carried out by IS militants, FBI documents said.

"Saipov decided to carry out the terrorist attack after watching IS videos on his phone. Almost a year ago Saipov began planning the attack in the United States and two months ago he decided to use a truck," the document said.

According to FBI information, investigators found nearly 90 videos and 3,800 images related to IS propaganda, including images of IS symbols and the group's leaders.

Earlier, a car crashed into a crowd of people in New York. According to the latest information, 8 people were killed, more than 10 were injured. New York City Mayor Bill de Blazio confirmed that the incident with the truck was considered an act of terrorism.
