Car driver knocks down 2 people in apartment building during parking dispute

On September 9, District 4 Police (HCMC) said they had worked with Huynh Duc Tho (28 years old) and Ho Phuong Tam (26 years old, both living in District 4) to clarify the cause related to the car hitting and knocking down 2 people at the Gold View apartment building (District 4).

Tho and Tam admitted that they had a conflict over a parking space. According to their initial statements, at around 4:30 a.m. on September 8, they went to the Gold View apartment building to park their car. At that time, Tam (who lives at the Gold View apartment building) also drove home and had a conflict with Tho over a parking space.

When the two sides got into a fight, Tam suddenly used a knife to stab Tho in the chest and hip, injuring Tho.

Seeing this, Tam's parents, Mr. Ho Phuoc Lam (57 years old) and Truong Thi Tuyet Huong (55 years old) also came to stop them. A while later, Mr. Lam and Mrs. Huong had just driven their motorbike a short distance when Tho drove a car from behind and hit them straight on, injuring both victims and requiring them to be taken to the emergency room.

Saigon General Hospital (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City) said that Mr. Lam and Ms. Huong suffered multiple injuries, of which Ms. Huong suffered head and ear injuries; Mr. Lam suffered head, chest, and abdominal injuries.
