The victim in the case was Nguyen Thi Kim N. (9 years old, 2nd grade student at Thuong Thoi Tien 1 Primary School).
According to the incident, on April 20, 2017, N. passed by Cu's house and cursed at this man's daughter.
Angry, Cu followed N. When they reached a deserted road, N. discovered that Cu was following behind so he ran away.
However, Cu chased after her and used his hands to cover her mouth and nose and choked N. for about 5 minutes before discovering that the girl was no longer moving.
Then, Cu dragged the victim's body to a nearby pond and dropped it.
