In 2021, closely following the leadership and comprehensive direction of the Central Public Security Party Committee, the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security and the Party Committee and government of Nghe An province, over the past year, Nghe An Public Security has overcome all difficulties, made every effort, promoted emulation to excellently complete all tasks, and had many creative and highly effective solutions.

Notably, it has done a good job of grasping the situation, early, from afar, in advance, while always being proactive, sensitive, close to reality, investing efforts and intelligence to advise the Party Committee and the government to effectively organize and implement security and order work in the area. In 2021, it has advised on more than 90 major documents, including 11 resolutions, directives, projects, regulations, and procedures of strategic importance.

In addition, actively and synchronously deploy measures and solutions to firmly protect national security, not to let sudden, unexpected incidents occur, forming "hot spots" and complications. Fight fiercely and effectively against all types of crimes and social evils, not to let organized crimes operating in the style of "mafia". Do a good job of preventing and reducing 11% of crimes against social order (exceeding 6% compared to the target assigned by the Ministry of Public Security). The fight against drug crimes, high-tech crimes, and crimes related to "black credit" continues to be highly appreciated and recognized by the Ministry of Public Security, receiving many commendations and awards.

Nghe An Provincial Police have performed well in State management of security and order, associated with promoting administrative reform, and for the 6th consecutive year, have been ranked first by the Ministry of Public Security in the administrative reform index of the entire force. Together with the national police force, Nghe An Provincial Police is the main and core force of the province in the work of preventing and fighting the COVID-19 pandemic, contributing to preventing and repelling the epidemic in the area. The movement to protect national security continues to be developed deeply, widely and qualitatively; during the year, 2 models were built, bringing the total number to 11 models that have been announced by the Ministry of Public Security for commendation and replication nationwide so far.

The work of Party building, force building, logistics and technology has always been identified by Nghe An Provincial Police as the core and most important premise to create an excellent breakthrough for other aspects of Public Security work. In particular, there have been many good and creative solutions and practices in building the grassroots Public Security force, especially the proposal to the government to arrange regular commune police headquarters, saving hundreds of billions of VND in the budget for the Ministry of Public Security. With the achievements and feats achieved, 2021 is the 7th consecutive year that Nghe An Provincial Police has been honored to be proposed by the Prime Minister to award the Excellent Emulation Flag.
