Test results of 3 young women escorted to quarantine hospital in Nghe An

On the morning of August 2, the Nghe An Province Center for Disease Control announced that three young girls being quarantined at the Tropical Disease Center all tested negative for nCoV. Currently, all three of them have not shown any unusual symptoms as declared by their health care providers.

On the morning of July 30, one of the three young women came to the Tropical Disease Center, Nghe An General Hospital, declaring that she had returned from Da Nang on July 8 and had been coughing, having difficulty breathing, and having a fever for the past 8 days. Here, doctors and nurses examined her and found no unusual symptoms, so she was instructed to self-isolate at home.

On the morning of July 31, this young woman brought two more roommates (both 19 years old) to Nghi Phu Commune Health Station to continue complaining of coughing, difficulty breathing, fever... and loudly requesting to be tested to see if they were infected with Covid-19. Based on this declaration, officials from the Nghe An Provincial Center for Disease Control came down directly to take samples for testing. Although at that time, medical staff did not detect any cases of fever as declared.

The health authorities also had to urgently disinfect the place where the 3 girls lived and dispatch a medical vehicle to take all 3 to quarantine at the Tropical Disease Center, Nghe An General Hospital. However, all 3 girls did not want to be quarantined but wanted to go home to wait for test results. Given the above situation, the health staff had to persuade them so all 3 got on the vehicle to be quarantined.
After completing the quarantine admission procedures, all three girls left the quarantine area without permission. On the afternoon of July 31, medical staff had to once again send a car to the boarding house to escort all three back to the hospital for quarantine and testing./.
