At nearly 10 o'clock, Thuan discovered Ms. NTKC (born in 1986, from Can Tho) driving a scooter passing by, so Thuan rushed out to block the vehicle, used a knife to threaten and force Ms. C. to get off the vehicle.
Ms. C. shouted, Thuan threw the knife back at the scene and stole Ms. C.'s motorbike and escaped. Thuan changed the license plate of the motorbike he had just stolen and brought it to Dat to sell. Dat sold the motorbike for 7 million VND and gave it all to Thuan.

Upon receiving the report of the robbery, District 12 Police sent reconnaissance teams to the area to collect information, identify the suspect and organize a search. Knowing that he could not escape, on November 13, Thuan surrendered to District 12 Police.
