This is the issue raised by Director of the Department of Home Affairs Dau Van Thanh in his opening speech at the 2017 administrative reform training course for officials, leaders, and administrative reform consultants at the provincial and district levels on the morning of December 15.

Administrative reform is a major policy of the Party and State and through the implementation of this task, the effectiveness and efficiency of State management is improved.

However, according to the Director of the Department of Home Affairs: Some Party committees and authorities have not really paid enough attention to administrative reform work; the consultation of officials and civil servants doing administrative reform work in some agencies and units has not met the requirements. Many administrative reform tasks still exist and have limitations that need to be focused on overcoming.

Therefore, the Provincial People's Committee organized a training conference on administrative reform to raise awareness and knowledge for leaders and staff of provincial departments, branches, People's Committees of districts, cities and towns; thereby creating positive changes in administrative reform work in the province.

"Through the training program, leaders and staff at departments, branches and People's Committees of districts, cities and towns will have a more complete understanding of administrative reform and the work that needs to be done, thereby focusing on directing and better implementing administrative reform at their agencies and units, contributing to the implementation of administrative reform in the province" - Mr. Dau Van Thanh emphasized.
