Overcoming the situation of 'old bamboo, young shoots have not grown'
(Baonghean.vn) - Hamlet 13 (Tan Huong Commune, Tan Ky) is a special hamlet with 97 households and 417 people, of which Catholics account for nearly 80%. Before 2015, the Party cell had 3 party members, one of whom was over 80 years old, so organizing activities encountered many difficulties.
For a long time, the Party cell of Hamlet 13 could not recruit new Party members, affecting its ability to carry out its tasks. Faced with this situation, the Party Committee of Tan Huong commune assigned Party cell member Pham Ngoc Hai - Deputy Head of the Party Committee's Inspection Committee, to be promoted to Party cell secretary, in order to strengthen the Party cell of Hamlet 13, enhance the fighting strength of the Party organization, revive mass movements, and create solidarity among the people.

Clearly identifying important tasks that require drastic participation, Secretary Pham Ngoc Hai and the Party cell discussed and agreed on leadership and direction. "The key thing for each Party committee cadre is dedication, exemplary behavior, especially "words must go hand in hand with actions", unity in action" - Secretary Pham Ngoc Hai shared.
The Party cell has proactively created resources, persistently mobilized, persuaded, created favorable conditions, and gradually raised political awareness and fighting spirit for the elite masses.
At the same time, leaders and direct youth union branches, women's and farmers' associations to launch patriotic emulation movements to attract a large number of members to participate.
From there, not only promoting the strengths of the locality, but also helping the Party cell to train the masses associated with assigning tasks and suitable challenges so that they have the environment and conditions to practice and cultivate. Party members assigned to monitor the masses are all experienced, responsible comrades, exemplary pioneers in work, ethics, and lifestyle.
Thanks to the efforts, responsibility and dedication, in 2 years, the Party Cell of Hamlet 13 has trained and admitted 4 party members. Currently, 3 people are completing their party admission documents.
In the coming time, the Party cell will continue to build the grassroots political system with the motto "comprehensive strength, substantial sustainability", focusing on developing new Party members and supplementing young human resources to overcome the situation of "old bamboo, young shoots have not yet grown".Besides political tasks, to help people develop the economy and increase income right at home, Party cell of hamlet 13 and the hamlet executive committee mobilized farmers to change crop structure, invest in intensive farming, and increase productivity.
In addition, the village also organizes training courses, instructing people on livestock and crop farming techniques, and providing quality grass and plant varieties. Thanks to that, up to now, there have been 57 economic models with incomes of 100-500 million VND/year.
