Overcoming explosion at Cam Bridge construction site
(Baonghean) - On the afternoon of April 10, while the Truong Son Bridge and Road Construction Company was drilling sand piles, the drill bit touched a bomb (or artillery shell), which exploded, creating a hole 3m deep, 9m long, and 8m wide. The pressure of the bomb caused a section of National Highway 1A to crack.
Construction area is guarded and handled safely.
On April 11, Construction Company 384 (Army Corps 12) mobilized forces and vehicles to re-examine the entire construction site at Cam Bridge area (Km 442+385, National Highway 1A), where the explosion occurred.
