+ The hotel closes the hall until the bride and groom arrive. The bride, groom and both families stand in the lobby to welcome guests.

+ After the bride and groom have welcomed guests into the hall, turn off the lights in the entire hall (applicable to weddings using candlelight). The officiant invites the bride and groom onto the stage. Then, invite both paternal and maternal families into the hall to hold the wedding ceremony.
