(Baonghean.vn) - On September 7th, the Provincial Military Command organized the opening ceremony for the training course on national defense and security knowledge for Category 3 officials at the commune, ward, and town levels, and the reserve officer course for Category 1 in 2015.

Attending the opening ceremony were Comrade Le Xuan Dai - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Provincial National Defense and Security Education Council; Colonel Nguyen Van Hien, Deputy Head of the Militia Department, 4th Military Region Command; Colonel Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Commander of the Provincial Military Command; leaders of provincial departments and agencies, along with 110 comrades who are leading officials at the commune level in 21 districts, towns, and cities; and reserve non-commissioned officers of class 1 throughout the province.

The reserve officer training course lasts 3 months and includes instruction from teachers on basic training content, including the ideology and moral example of Ho Chi Minh; countering the "peaceful evolution" strategy and subversive riots of hostile forces against the Vietnamese revolution; Party work and political work in combat readiness and platoon-level training; live firing exercises with the K54 pistol; assaulting infantry companies and attacking battalions; using military maps; and a thorough understanding of the officer law, guiding documents on reserve officers, drill regulations, and company logistics in defensive combat…

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Comrade Le Xuan Dai emphasized the importance and great significance of further training and enhancing knowledge of national defense and security for leading cadres at all levels, especially at the grassroots level. He also expressed confidence that during the training period, leading cadres in localities would grasp the basic content and directions for resolving national defense and security issues in accordance with the Party and State's viewpoints in the current period.
