Opening of the Advanced Political Theory class 2014-2016

(Baonghean.vn)- On the morning of October 27, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and Nghe An Provincial Party Committee held the opening ceremony of the non-concentrated Advanced Political Theory class for the 2014-2016 course. Attending the opening ceremony were Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Tat Giap - Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Comrade Ho Duc Phoc - Provincial Party Committee Secretary, Comrade Nguyen Huu Lam - Standing Committee Member - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee, the Board of Directors of Nghe An Political School and leaders of several departments, branches and sectors.

Overview of the opening ceremony

The 2014-2016 non-concentrated Advanced Political Theory class was opened at Nghe An Political School. The class had 90 participants who were key officials and reserve officials working at agencies and units in the province.

In 2 years, the course will equip students with a system of knowledge and skills on the worldview, dialectical materialist methodology of Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh thought, knowledge of political science, administration... to help cadres in the province improve their political theory level, meeting the requirements of directing and operating administrative management work in the new situation. This is also the first course that the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics applies the training program according to the new curriculum.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Comrade Ho Duc Phoc - Provincial Party Secretary and Associate Professor - Dr. Nguyen Tat Giap - Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics suggested that during the learning process, students need to strictly comply with the rules and regulations of the school and class, be conscious in studying the contents and programs conveyed by the lecturers, make efforts to improve awareness and political capacity, update new knowledge, scientific thinking methods to solve problems arising from practice; at the same time, overcome difficulties, participate fully in learning, and complete the course with the highest results.
