Opening of illiteracy eradication and anti-illiteracy class in Que Phong district
On the morning of November 12, at Tri Le commune, the Department of Education and Training of Que Phong district coordinated with Economic - Defense Group 4 (Military Region 4) to organize the opening ceremony of the illiteracy eradication and anti-illiteracy class, term 1, phase 1 for 26 students who are people of Lam Hop village, Tri Le commune.

The class is part of the Government's Project "Enhancing young intellectual volunteers to work in economic - defense zones"; the teachers are young intellectual volunteers working at Economic - Defense Group 4 (Military Region 4).
Class time is from 7pm - 9pm daily and the class program is expected to be completed in May 2025.

The class aims to create learning opportunities for young people and the elderly who have never been to school or had to drop out of school... with the goal of achieving primary school level, having listening, speaking and reading skills in Vietnamese, thereby improving the quality of life, contributing to hunger eradication and poverty reduction in the locality.
From 2017 to present, Economic - Defense Group 4 (Military Region 4) has coordinated with the Department of Education and Training of Que Phong and Ky Son districts to organize 17 classes to eliminate illiteracy and disseminate scientific and technical knowledge to 497 people.
In Tri Le commune, Que Phong district alone, 4 classes were opened for 165 people from Nong 1, Hua Na, Na Nieng, D1, D2, Na Chang, and Kem Don villages.
