Gam Temple and Pagoda is located on the land of Xuan village of Xuan Thanh commune (Yen Thanh) - a place where many generals and heroes stopped, opened land, established villages, and recruited troops. Not only does Yen Thanh have a beautiful landscape, it is also a place that preserves evidence and has many relics and architectural works: communal houses, temples, pagodas, shrines with traditional festivals that have existed since ancient times.
Gam Temple Festival is a typical cultural festival of Yen Thanh district. And the majestic Gam Ru is a spiritual and ecological site that is increasingly visited and toured by tourists from all over the world.

Gam Pagoda Temple is an ancient, sacred complex with beautiful, unique architecture, with sophisticated carvings and patterns, using many materials, expressing the intelligent ideas, skillful hands, aspirations and respect of the people for the merits of the gods, Buddha and ancestors.
The temple was built during the Tran Dynasty to worship the gods who protected the country and brought favorable weather and wind, such as Cao Son, Cao Cac, King of the Sea Hoang Ta Thon, Ly Nhat Quang, the Four Holy Ladies, and Ly Thien Cuong. Gam Pagoda is a religious structure built by the people to worship Buddha Shakyamuni and Bodhisattvas.

This year's festival is especially associated with the stone-laying ceremony for the construction of Truc Lam Yen Thanh Zen Monastery, the An Quoc Great Buddha statue located in the Ru Gam spiritual eco-tourism complex with the initiation of Venerable Thich Thanh Tu, Abbot Thich Truc Thong Kien; the dedication of General Pham Van Tra; Buddhist layman Trinh Van Muoi and the merit of many monks, nuns, Buddhists and people from all over the country.
On the afternoon of April 2, at the Gam temple festival, traditional sports competitions continued to take place.
