(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of February 20, the People's Committee of Quy Chau district solemnly held the opening ceremony of the Hang Bua Festival 2014. Attending the ceremony were representatives of departments, branches and sectors of Nghe An province; delegations of Tra Bong district, Tay Tra district - Quang Ngai province; Nhu Thanh district - Thanh Hoa province; representatives of districts and towns in the province, along with a large number of tourists from all over the country and ethnic people of Quy Chau district.
Hang Bua Festival is held annually, an event of profound significance to the cultural and spiritual life of the people here.

The 2014 Hang Bua Festival consists of two parts: the ceremony at Muong Chieng Ngam Temple, including the opening ceremony, the proclamation ceremony, the great sacrifice ceremony, and the thanksgiving ceremony. On the morning of February 20, after the spiritual ceremony at the Thanh Hoang Chieng Ngam Temple, which was performed according to the traditional customs of the Thai ethnic group, the Hang Bua Festival officially opened. The opening ceremony expressed the sincerity and respect for the origin of the national cultural identity and the friendship between near and far, creating a new atmosphere of construction and development.
