Opening of the AIESEC International Youth Congress in Russia

On the morning of August 17th, the 64th AIESEC International Youth Congress opened in Moscow, with the participation of outstanding young entrepreneurs and students aged 20-27 from 110 countries around the world.

Lasting until August 26th, the Congress will include three main forums: AIESEC Leaders, Youth Voices, and AIESEC's Successful Businesses.

The Congress also includes the "World After 2020" seminar and an international cultural festival.

Delegates attending the Congress will hear speeches from two Russian Deputy Prime Ministers, Arkady Dvorkovich and Olga Golodets, Minister of Education and Science Dmitry Livanov, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, and Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin.

AIESEC is a large international youth organization that brings together outstanding young entrepreneurs and students with the aim of establishing international partnerships and coordinating joint projects of social importance, while enabling young people and students to contribute to national and international socio-economic development.

Currently, AIESEC has more than 1,100 universities in 110 countries worldwide as members.
