Opening of Vinh University student volleyball tournament
(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of March 9, joining in the bustling atmosphere of youth celebrating the 87th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Youth Union - Student Association of Vinh University organized the 2018 Student Volleyball Tournament.

The student volleyball tournament is a traditional activity organized annually by the Youth Union - Student Association to create a useful sports playground attracting a large number of youth union members to participate, contributing to improving physical strength and health, implementing the campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho" and the slogan "Healthy to study, work, build and protect the Fatherland".

This student volleyball tournament gathered 13 male teams and 13 female teams from the International Students' Union and other youth organizations in Vinh University. The tournament consisted of 4 groups, officially opening from the evening of March 9th to the end of March 26th, 2018.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Dr. Thieu Dinh Phong - Secretary of Vinh University Youth Union hoped that the athletes would compete with all their might in a noble sportsmanship spirit, giving the audience fierce and beautiful plays.
The referee team will work accurately and fairly; the fans will cheer for the players enthusiastically, showing the true spirit of Vinh University students.

After the opening ceremony, the men's Group D match took place between the Faculty of Law team and the Geography - Natural Resources team; and the women's Group D match between the International Students team and the Economics team./.
