Opening Ceremony of the Saigon Beer Cup Football Tournament 2014

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of October 23rd, the opening ceremony of the 2014 Saigon Beer Cup Football Tournament for the Nghe An region took place at the artificial turf field of the Provincial Labor Culture House. This year's tournament features 64 teams from various agencies, departments, companies, schools, etc., throughout the province.

This is the second time the Saigon Beer Cup football tournament has been held in Nghe An. The tournament is organized in a knockout format, with 5-a-side matches according to the regulations of the Vietnam Football Federation. The winning team will receive a prize of 40 million VND, the runner-up 20 million VND, and the third and fourth place teams will receive 10 and 5 million VND respectively. The tournament will run until October 26th. The two best teams will represent Nghe An in the national finals held in Binh Thuan in December, with a prize of 150 million VND for the champion.

During the tournament held in Nghe An, spectators not only got to play games but also enjoyed free beer.
