Opening of the 2021 North Central 7-a-side Football Tournament in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) – The first 7-a-side football tournament in the North Central region organized by the Nghe An Amateur Football Association has just kicked off with many exciting matches. The tournament has seen the participation of many stars such as Van Quyen, Quang Tinh, and Van Binh.
On the afternoon of March 6, at the Vietnam - Korea Sports Center, Vinh City, Nghe An, Nghe An Amateur Football Association held the opening ceremony of the 7-a-side North Central Amateur Football Championship - Vinataba Cup 2021.
Attending the opening ceremony were comrade Le Hong Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee; representatives of the Department of Culture & Sports, Provincial Youth Union.

The 2021 North Central 7-a-side Football Championship was organized for the first time by the Nghe An Amateur Football Association with 8 strong teams from the North Central region including: FC Lucky Thanh Ha (Thanh Hoa), FC New Focus (Ha Tinh), FC Hieu Hoa Aquahaco (Da Nang), FC For You (Hue), FC Van Minh, FC Phuoc An, FC VT Hung Kieu, FC Vinataba (Nghe An).
The teams ofNorth Central 7-a-side football tournamentdivided into 2 groups to compete in a round robin, the 1st and 2nd teams in each group will qualify for the semi-finals. Right after the opening ceremony, there will be exciting matches with the appearance of the top professional and amateur football stars in Vietnam.

As a result, FC Vinataba of thoseVan Quyen, Van Binh, Au Hoan held FC Phuoc An to a 1-1 draw with Quang Tinh and Dac Khanh. In the same match, FC New Focus and FC Lucky Thanh Ha also ended with the same score. Meanwhile, FC Hieu Hoa Aquahaco defeated FC For You 3-2 and FC Van Minh beat FC VT Hung Kieu 1-0 to get the first 3 points.
The group stage matches will continue on March 7 and 8. The two semi-final matches are scheduled for March 9 and the final and closing ceremony will take place on March 10.
