Opening of the Quynh Luu Television Cup Children's Football Tournament

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of July 6, Quynh Luu Television Station in coordination with the district's Sports Center held the opening ceremony of the final round of the 20th Quynh Luu Television Cup Children's Football Tournament in 2015.

This year's tournament has 33 teams from 33 communes and towns of Quynh Luu district with a total of 396 players. After more than 30 qualifying matches in 4 clusters in the area in a round-robin format, the Organizing Committee has found the 12 best teams to participate in the final round. Here, the 12 teams will be divided into 4 groups to compete in a round-robin to select 4 excellent teams to compete for the first, second and third prizes. At the end of the season, the Organizing Committee will award 7 million VND to the champion team, 5 million VND to the second place team and 2 third place teams will be awarded 3 million VND each, 1 style prize of 1.5 million VND.

The Quynh Luu Television Cup Children's Football Tournament is the largest annual traditional sports tournament of the district, with the largest number of players, the most enthusiastic audience and the biggest prize. This is also a useful playground for children in Quynh Luu district during the summer, avoiding unfortunate accidents.

After the opening ceremony, the final matches will take place.

At the opening ceremony, the organizers awarded 12 good soccer players and 12 good soccer players and union members, each award worth 200,000 VND.
