Opening Ceremony of the 20th Quỳnh Lưu Television Cup Children's Football Tournament

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of June 23rd, in Quynh Thach and Quynh Ngoc communes, the organizing committee of the Quynh Luu Television Cup children's football tournament held the opening ceremony for the 2015 season. Attending the ceremony were journalist Ho Ngoc Quang - Director of Quynh Luu Radio and Television Station and Head of the organizing committee; and representatives from various district-level departments and agencies.

The organizers presented commemorative flags to the teams.

At the Quỳnh Thạch commune football field, matches will be held between 9 teams: Quỳnh Giang, Cầu Giát Town, Quỳnh Hồng, Quỳnh Văn, Quỳnh Hoa, Quỳnh Đôi, Quỳnh Hậu, Quỳnh Thạch, and Quỳnh Văn. The Quỳnh Thạch commune football field will also host matches between 9 teams: Quỳnh Diện, Quỳnh Bá, Quỳnh Hưng, An Hòa, Quỳnh Long, Quỳnh Thuận, Quỳnh Thọ, Sơn Hải, and Quỳnh Ngọc. Over 19 editions, the tournament has received the support and participation of local Party committees, authorities, mass organizations, young players, parents, schools, and a large number of fans. This year, the tournament is sponsored by the Industrial and Commercial Bank of Vietnam, North Nghệ An branch.

The Children's Football Tournament, broadcast on television, has become a valuable playground for teenagers and children during the summer and is a traditional annual tournament of the district.

On this occasion, the tournament organizers presented flags to the participating teams and awarded 16 gifts to players who are underprivileged students excelling in their studies.

Immediately following the opening ceremony was the match between the Quynh Doi and Quynh Hau teams.
