Opening Ceremony of the Vinh University Open Football Tournament

(Baonghean.vn) - Aiming to achieve outstanding results to celebrate the Party Congress at all levels and the 84th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, on the morning of March 27, Vinh University organized the opening ceremony of the 2015 Vinh University Open Football Tournament.

This year's tournament features six teams from universities and colleges, including Vinh University of Technology and Education, Vinh Medical University, Vinh University of Economics, Nghe An College of Culture and Arts, and the host institution. This is a very meaningful activity, providing an opportunity for schools to interact, learn from each other, and compete, encouraging the sports movement within the schools. This is also the first tournament organized after the Vinh University Gymnasium was inaugurated and put into use to serve the learning and sports training needs of the university's students.

The tournament will take place over three days, from March 27th to 30th. Teams will compete for first, second, and third place, as well as the award for best player of the match. Immediately following the opening ceremony will be the match between the host team, Vinh University, and Nghe An College of Culture and Arts.
