Opening Ceremony of the 2015 Family Sports Tournament
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of June 26th, at the Provincial Sports Competition and Service Center, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized the opening ceremony of the 2015 Nghe An Provincial Family Sports Tournament.

The tournament attracted over 150 athletes from more than 70 outstanding sports families from 17 districts and cities in the province. The athletes competed in two sports: badminton and table tennis, in the following categories: husband and wife, father and son doubles, mother and daughter doubles, across age groups: under 35, 35-45, 46-50, and 51 and above.

The Nghe An Provincial Family Sports Tournament is an annual event organized in response to and in implementation of the "National Movement for Physical Training Following the Example of the Great President Ho Chi Minh," providing an opportunity for exemplary sports families to interact, learn, and share experiences in building cultured and sporting families.

The tournament also serves as an opportunity to discover and nurture athletes with potential to compete in the 2015 National Family Sports Games.
