Female boxers will compete in 10 weight classes, ranging from 45 kg to 81 kg. All matches will take place in the ring and will be officiated by 30 national and international referees.
This year's tournament will feature participation from teams with a strong martial arts tradition, such as Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, as well as martial artists who achieved high rankings in the Asian Martial Arts Games and the 3rd Asian Indoor Games, promising excitement and drama.
This tournament is an opportunity for athletes to compete, gain experience, improve their skills, and refine their tactics; it also assesses the training and coaching of Kick-Boxing in domestic organizations.
This is also an opportunity to select talented athletes to focus on the national team for training and participation in international tournaments in the coming years, such as the 27th SEA Games and the Asian Indoor Games held in South Korea in 2013.
